White House Gives Order For General To Get In Contact With Russia

(PresidentialInsider.com)- The Kremlin, Russia’s federal government, reportedly offered the Biden White House the opportunity for American military personnel to use Russian bases in the Middle East to respond to the growing number of terror threats now that the United States has withdrawn all troops from Afghanistan.

It’s reported that General Mark Milley spoke with his Russian counterparts about the offer from Russia.

The news comes from The Wall Street Journal. According to the outlet, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Milley spoke to the Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov about the offer. President Joe Biden and the United States National Security Council reportedly requested Milley speak to Gerasimov about the offer.

Gen. Milley took orders for once, and didn’t make unsolicited calls without explicit instruction from the president…isn’t it funny how he follows the rules like that now there’s a Democrat in the White House?

According to The Journal, such a proposal is “fraught with challenges” even though both Russia and the United States share major concerns about the threat of Islamic counterterrorism.

One such example of those challenges is the fact that Congress passed legislation previously that stops close cooperation between the Russian and United States military for as long as Russian troops are in Ukraine. It means that the United States may need to withdraw that legislation, found an ingenious way around it, or make Russia remove troops from Ukraine…the latter of which seems unlikely.

Just for a moment consider the implications of such an offer from Russia if Trump were still in the White House right now.

It would be just another false accusation of collusion, wouldn’t it?
