(PresidentialInsider.com)- This week, former President Donald Trump said on a Daily Wire talk show that he believes his supporters will be “very happy” with a future decision he’ll make about running for the presidency once again.
“The answer is I’m absolutely enthused,” the former President said. “I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time.”
It sounds like Trump is running again!
The former president said that it’s “very early” but that he believes “people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement.”
“You know for campaign finance reasons, you really can’t do it too early because it becomes a whole different thing,” he added, indicating that the only reason he hasn’t announced that he’s running again is because of a legality or formality.
Specifically, formally announcing his plans to run for the presidency would mean that former President Trump would be required to file financial disclosure forms that dictate how he can raise and spend money in the time running up to the next presidential election.
That means we could be waiting years more to finally find out whether the former president is officially running.
“Otherwise I think I’d give you an answer that you’d be very happy with,” he continued. “So we’re looking at that very, very seriously…all I’d say is, stay tuned.”
That sounds pretty clear, right?

The interview with was host Candace Owens, a conservative commentator who previously ran a doxing website named “Social Autopsy” and who wrote articles questioning the size of President Trump’s genitalia. Owens has reinvented herself in recent years as a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, and asked the former president during the interview if she could join him on the ticket for the presidency.
Many conservatives have speculated already that former President Trump could be joined on a ticket with popular Republican Governor of Florida, Ron De Santis.
