Trump Administration Axes Communist China Propaganda Tools In US

( Alongside a recent announcement that Chinese Communist Party officials will be denied visas to enter the United States, the Trump administration announced in recent days that five cultural exchange programs with China have been ended. The State Department announced that the programs were being used by China for propaganda purposes and benefitted the United States in no way.

The decision to end the programs could be among the few final measures implemented by the Trump administration to stop China taking advantage of the United States before Joe Biden potentially enters the role on January 20. Biden, who served as vice president under the disastrous Obama administration, is known to be much friendlier to the Chinese Communist Party.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the exchange programs were paid for by the Chinese government and served as “soft power propaganda tools” and offered “carefully curated access to Chinese Communist Party officials, not to the Chinese people, who do not enjoy freedoms of speech and assembly.”

A statement from the State Department described how the Hong Kong Educational and Cultural Program, the U.S.-China Transpacific Exchange Program, the U.S.-China Leadership Exchange Program, the U.S. China Friendship Program, and the Policymakers Educational China Trip Program have all come to an end.

Cue the Democrats freaking out that President Trump ended the U.S.-China “Friendship” Program.

Pompeo reiterated that the United States still welcomes “reciprocal and fair exchange of cultural programs” with China, but only the mutually beneficial ones will remain.

The Trump administration also just announced that Chinese Communist Party officials will be denied entry to the United States, owing to the coercive tactics used by the Chinese government to silence critics of the communist dictatorship.

Senator Marco Rubio, the acting Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman, announced his support of the new measures in a joint statement with Democrat Virginia Senator Mark Warner.

“Beijing’s infiltration of U.S. society has been deliberate and insidious as they use every instrument of influence available to accelerate their rise at America’s expense,” he said. “Unfortunately, the United States’s challenge with China is not unique as Beijing seeks to infiltrate and subvert other nations around the world, including our allies.”

In stark contrast to the tough measures being taken by the Trump administration, Joe Biden has already chosen a National Security Adviser who previously said the United States should “encourage China’s rise.”

Will Joe Biden have the guts to undo the measures taken by President Trump if he reaches inauguration day without the courts stepping in on matters of election fraud?
