(PresidentialInsider.com)- President Donald Trump spent four years carefully planning the tactical withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, but it only took President joe Biden six months to mess it all up.
That was evident the moment that Taliban extremists swarmed the U.S. Bagram airbase as soon as U.S. troops abruptly left, and it was proven once again last week when the Taliban seized control of a sixth city in the space of less than a week.
It’s a huge blow to the Biden administration, which has been excitedly preparing for the full withdrawal of American troops by September 11.
The city of Aibak, which is the capital of the Samangan province, is now officially in the hands of Jihadist terrorists. The city fell on Monday morning, with the Taliban announcing that day that all police outposts and government stations in the city have been cleared.
It is a full invasion of Afghanistan by terrorists, and there is virtually nothing that the Biden administration can do about it at this point.
Sefatullah Samangani, who is the deputy governor of Samangan, announced that the Taliban has taken “full control” of the city only a day after the terrorists took control of the cities of Taloqan, Sar-e-Pul, and Kunduz.
The total disaster of the withdrawal has drawn criticism from both Republicans and Democrats, and has left the Biden administration scrambling to figure out a plan of action.
Senator Mitt Romney of Utah came out in favor of maintaining an American presence in Afghanistan, to protect against the insurgence of extremists.

Texas congressman Lance Gooden also noted that just eight months ago, former President Trump was striking peace deals in the Middle East after eradicating ISIS…and now President Biden is sending thousands of troops back to Afghanistan to deal with the crisis.

Reports also suggest that rescue efforts are taking place to safely remove American personnel from the U.S. embassy in capital city Kabul.
