Steve Bannon Says Partisan Government Officials Are Coming For Him

(PresidentialInsider.com)- In a statement late on Tuesday, Steve Bannon, a former Trump adviser, asserted that the New York indictment against him is an effort to discredit him before the 2022 midterm elections.

Bannon is being indicted on state-level charges connected to the federal allegations he faced from a fraud scheme. Bannon is anticipated to surrender this week.

Bannon said that the Soros-backed DA has decided to pursue bogus charges against him 60 days before the midterm election because his show is the primary source of the MAGA grassroots movement. He said the indictment comes just days after being swatted three different times by deranged thugs from New York City. He said that the inspiration for the swatting came from the Biden Administration, who wanted to assassinate him by police.

“The SDNY attempted to remove me from the election in August 2020 by doing the exact same thing. Since it didn’t work back then, it won’t work now, either. The criminal justice system is being used as a political weapon,” Bannon claimed.

He added that they are targeting all of us, not just myself and President Trump.

“I’ll never give up the struggle. In fact, I haven’t even started to battle yet. They’ll need to murder me first,“ Bannon declared.

During his closing days in office, former President Donald Trump pardoned Bannon in the federal lawsuit before the trial could come to a close.

Bannon was charged for allegedly scamming people who contributed money to a crowdfunding campaign to erect a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border in August 2020. He was charged with stealing $1 million from the $25 million raised to pay an alleged accomplice and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of personal costs.

The Department of Justice announced in a statement that the other two men charged with the plan, Brian Kolfage, and Andrew Badolato, pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct wire fraud in April, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. Kolfage also admitted guilt to tax and wire fraud charges brought by the Northern District of Florida’s US Attorney’s Office.

According to The Washington Post, Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg will oversee the state case. Bannon was the subject of a state investigation initiated by Cyrus R. Vance Jr., Bragg’s predecessor.

According to the story, Bannon was supposed to surrender on Thursday.
