State Department Investigating Web Hack Targeting Trump

(PresedentialInsider)- The State Department confirmed a probe on Monday to discover who appeared to have hacked the government website and written that President’s Donald Trump ended that very day.

The person responsible appeared to change the bio page for President Donald Trump, incorrectly claiming that “Donald J. Trump’s term ended on 2021-02-11 19:49:00.” Once the media and online pundits noticed it, it quickly caused a flurry, with speculation suggesting that the president had already resigned or been removed.

However, the State Department probe quickly revealed that the person responsible for changing the text on the page was a disgruntled employee.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s internal investigation into the matter first focused on interns and employees who were leaving that State Department that week, ahead of the transition to the Biden administration.

The Department also quickly announced that it was “100% not a hack” and that the “closed system” was “nearly impossible to hack.”

Sources eventually told BuzzFeed News that the changes were made by a “disgruntled staffer.” Journalist Christopher Miller also confirmed the full investigation ordered by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Meanwhile, the chances of President Donald Trump’s term as president ending early are increasing, even with only a week to go until Joe Biden is inaugurated.

Congressional Democrats have already brought one article of impeachment against President Donald Trump, inaccurately claiming that he incited or called for violent riots on January 6.

The Democrats aren’t stopping their witch hunt against the president even with just days to go until Biden is inaugurated…
