Ron DeSantis Says Florida Will No Longer Allow Dangerous Critical Race Theory

( Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is continuing the Trump administration’s Make America Great Again agenda in his state, announcing this week that he would end the teaching of Critical Race Theory in his state’s schools.

It’s an order originally put in place nationally by President Donald Trump in the form of an executive order, but which was undone by President Joe Biden as soon as he came into office.

Critical Race Theory is a radical, left-wing theory that all people should be defined by their race and that the United States is a fundamentally racist country that discriminates against non-white people. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the theory also says that America’s institutions are beyond reform and need to be totally removed and dismantled in order for racism to end.

It is pushed by radical activists like Robin DiAngelo, the author of “White Fragility,” who claims that all white people are inherently racist…even those who oppose racism.

Before Governor DeSantis stepped in, Florida’s schools were allowed to teach these anti-American ideas to children. But not anymore.

“There’s no room in our classrooms for things like Critical Race Theory. Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money,” DeSantis said in a press conference on Wednesday.

In the same announcement, Governor DeSantis also announced that Florida teachers may be eligible for a $3,000 bonus if they complete a civics education program that focuses on America’s foundational concepts – another idea initially proposed by President Donald Trump under the proposed 1776 Commission established in September 2020 and ended by President Biden.

The idea was to give students a “patriotic education” free from left-wing indoctrination.

If you want your kids to live in the America that President Donald Trump proposed, then it looks like Florida might be the closest thing to it.
