Rand Paul Urges Libertarians To Vote REPUBLICAN In Important Georgia Runoff Election

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Republican Senator Rand Paul, well known for his libertarian views, this week encouraged Libertarian Party voters in the state of Georgia to turn out and vote for the Republicans in the January Senate runoff election.

Speaking to Fox News, Paul explained how important it is for the Republicans to win the election and maintain control of the Senate. He also added that the 100,000 people who turned out to vote for Libertarian Senate candidate Shane Hazel could help stop the Democrats potentially taking control of the government.

“One of the things that I’ve taken upon myself is to try to encourage…there was a little over 100,000 people who voted for Shane Hazel, the Libertarian candidate, and I think those people can find a place and reason to vote for Republicans,” Paul said on Monday.

He also acknowledged some of the frustrations that libertarians often have with Republicans.

“Look, I get fed up with the Republicans not spending money wisely and adding to our debt, but they are better than the Democrats,” he said. “Even if only sometimes marginally so. But on some things, like packing the court and D.C. statehood, Republicans will help to protect the country from all branches of government being controlled by the Democrats.”

Paul was referencing the very real possibility that Joe Biden takes the White House in January, assuming the president’s lawsuits fail. Should this happen and the Democrats go on to win the two Senate seats in Georgia, it would mean Democrats have control of the House, the Senate, and the White House. If that happens, their agenda could be unstoppable – and the effects of their policies irreversible.

The Kentucky senator said that there is “some argument” for Libertarian Party voters to turn out and vote Republican and that he would be spending time trying to convince them to turn out in January.

Libertarians turning out in this election could literally change America’s future, stopping the Democrats from taking control of government for at least the next two years. Should the Democrats take the Senate, and assuming their moderate and radical wings can unite on certain issues, it could result in the packing of the Supreme Court, statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico, and amnesty for over 20 million illegal aliens. These three things alone would make it virtually impossible for Republicans to win for many years to come.

Last week it was also revealed that Rand Paul’s PAC made a massive $3 million investment in Georgia, including a seven-figure TV ad buy.

Will 2021 be the year that libertarians save America?
