RACIST MRS. BUTTERWORTH: Another Brand to Under Complete Overhaul

(AmericanPoliticalDaily.com)- If you thought the woke mob would settle with getting rid of Aunt Jemima, you were wrong. Another pancake syrup brand, Mrs. Butterworth, will undergo a total overhaul of its branding as a result of accusations of racism. The brand is known for the unique shape of its bottle, which represents a motherly-looking woman.

A spokesman for Conagra Brands announced on Wednesday a “complete brand and packaging review,” in the wake of the decisions to remove Aunt Jemima from Quaker Foods’ packaging and even the end of the famous Uncle Ben’s brand.

“We understand that our actions help play an important role in eliminating racial bias and as a result, we have begun a complete brand and packaging review on Mrs. Butterworth’s,” the spokesperson told Forbes.

“We stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown communities and we can see that our packaging may be interpreted in a way that is wholly inconsistent with our values,” the brand added. “It’s heartbreaking and unacceptable that racism and racial injustices exist around the world. We will be part of the solution. Let’s work together to progress toward change.”

Yikes. Now syrup bottles are racist.

The brand didn’t expand on how their branding could be seen as racist. A motherly-looking woman is hardly representative of systemic racism, if such a thing exists. The bottle is also transparent and does not appear to depict the race of the woman on the bottle.

The capitulation to woke mobs takes place at a contentious time in American politics, where gangs of violent extremists continue burning down buildings and smashing up American cities. Violence and rioting have been condoned by university professors, public officials, and even elected representatives. The Democratic Mayor of Seattle, Jenny Durkan, has refused to send in the National Guard or local police department to end the occupation of six blocks of her city which has since become known as the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.”

Attacks against historic and popular American brands has come as a direct result of these riots. Riche Richardson, a professor from Cornell University, told NBC News recently that the Aunt Jemima character was a “retrograde image of black womanhood on store shelves.”
