Putin Is Holding A Surprise Event For His Alleged Mistress

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Last week, Russian state TV broadcast a gymnastics festival named after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s supposed mistress, gymnast Alina Kabaeva.

The Alina Festival featured hundreds of young children and gymnasts performing on stage to some of the old patriotic songs from the Soviet Union. Alina Kabaeva acted as MC for the extravaganza, appearing in a pink floral dress by designer Alessandra Rich.

This is the second festival held this year in honor of Alina Kabaeva. In the first even in late April, Kabaeva herself attended. That event was also called the Alina Festival.

The 38-year-old Kabaeva is known in Russia as the “first lady in the shadows” and has been romantically linked to Putin since 2008. It is rumored that the couple has four children together, 7-year-old twin daughters and two sons. However, the Russian president has never publicly acknowledged the relationship or the children. In 2015, the Kremlin denied reports in Western outlets that the couple had four children.

Alina Kabaeva won Olympic gold in rhythmic gymnastics and is a former member of the Russian Parliament. It was believed that she went into hiding after Russia invaded Ukraine in February. In March, an online petition circulated to have her expelled from her Switzerland residence.

In May, the UK and Canadian governments imposed sanctions on Kabaeva, along with other members of Putin’s inner circle.
