(PresidentialInsider.com)- On Tuesday June 1, OAN Reporter Christina Bobb reported that a delegation from the Pennsylvania legislature arrived in Maricopa County, Arizona to observe the election audit currently taking place.
Watch the OAN report HERE.
The delegation of three Republican state lawmakers is visiting the Arizona Capitol to meet with members of the Arizona legislature and will also tour the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix where the audit is taking place.
Calling the tour as a “fact-finding mission,” PA State Rep. Rob Kauffman told the Epoch Times that they want to get an on-the-ground picture of what is happening with the audit. Kauffman was joined in this tour by PA State Senators Doug Mastriano and Cris Dush.
It was State Senator Mastriano who asked for the audit for Fulton County, PA which was conducted by Wake Technology Services. The results of this audit have yet to be released.
In November 2020, both Rep. Kauffman and Senator Dush called for a statewide election audit of Pennsylvania after complaints from Pennsylvanians as well as news reports about potential voter fraud. In December they said an analysis of the data revealed “troubling discrepancies” between the vote count and the total number of voters.
Whether or not this trip to Arizona indicates a similar audit forthcoming in Pennsylvania, Senator Dush couldn’t say. Though, he did suggest that if they bring back any “substantial information,” he could see it happening.
Shortly after the 2020 election, the Arizona State Senate ordered the audit of Maricopa County that set off a cascade of court battles with the County Board of Supervisors resisting subpoenas of ballots, voting machines and other electronic material.
The audit began on April 23 after a judge sided with the state Senate and Maricopa County finally relented and handed over most of the material subpoenaed.
At this point, auditors have made it through nearly half of the 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County last November.
Democrats vehemently oppose the audit and have attempted several times to put a stop to it to no avail. Arizona’s Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs even attempted to get the Biden Department of Justice to interfere.
Hobbs has repeatedly warned that the audit in Maricopa County could lead to other states doing similar audits.
No doubt a visit from Pennsylvania lawmakers didn’t sit well with Katie Hobbs.
