(PresidentialInsider.com)- Last Thursday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law a bill banning most abortions after 15 weeks. Naturally, the American corporate media and Democrat politicians lost their minds.
On Friday, during NBC’s “Today” show, a representative from Planned Parenthood, Mayte Canino, was invited on to condemn the law as “cruel” while bemoaning how Florida women who want to kill their child after 15 weeks’ gestation will now be forced to travel out of state to North Carolina to do so.
Then, “Today” brought on abortion advocate Stephanie Loraine Pineiro who appeared on split-screen wearing a T-shirt reading “Thank God for Abortion.”
Pineiro’s tasteless attire was especially galling considering it was Good Friday.
But abortion advocates aren’t known for subtlety, are they?
In December, during oral arguments on Mississippi’s abortion ban, pro-abortion protesters ingested abortion pills outside of the US Supreme Court.
The activists from the very subtly-named “Shout Your Abortion” held up a large banner reading, “We are taking abortion pills forever,” and proceeded to gobble their pills while the cameras rolled.
The days of activists calling for abortions to be “safe, legal, and rare” are long over.
As with everything else embraced by the Left, the pro-abortion activists have pushed things to the extreme.
Like the pink-haired teachers who post videos to TikTok explaining how they teach their students about being “non-binary” or “gender-fluid,” these abortion activists are a bunch of narcissists embracing the extreme to get attention.
They’re not interested in reasoned debate. Their only goal is to shock and disgust.
Florida’s 15-week abortion law is set to go into effect on July 1.
Expect legal challenges.
