(PresidentialInsider.com)- According to a recent survey, a majority of Americans oppose the radical tactics deployed by pro-abortion activists and want the Justice Department to crack down on the protests outside of the homes of the conservative Supreme Court justices.
A Judicial Crisis Network survey conducted by CRC Research found that 58 percent of respondents think Attorney General Merrick Garland should enforce the federal law that prohibits picketing at the homes of judges.
A larger majority, 61 percent said these protests undermine American democracy and 60 percent want President Biden to condemn these protests.
So far, the White House has expressed support for the pro-abortion activists violating federal law, claiming that so long as the protests are “peaceful,” they should be allowed.
The survey also found that Americans broadly oppose the tactics of the radical group ShutDownDC which has been offering bounties for information on where to find the conservative justices so activists can harass them in public. A total of 71 percent of respondents believe ShutDownDC’s tactics go “too far,” including 61 percent of Democrats.
The attacks on crisis pregnancy centers are also backfiring with voters. An overwhelming majority of respondents, 84 percent, believe those committing these attacks should be prosecuted, that includes 82 percent of Democrats. The majority of Democrats surveyed, 85 percent, think these targeted attacks undermine American democracy.
The survey also found that by a 35-point margin, voters are less likely to support candidates who refuse to condemn the attacks on crisis pregnancy centers.
According to Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino, the survey shows that the majority of Americans, including Democrats, believe the White House’s “hands-off approach” to these radical pro-abortion activists’ tactics is the wrong way to go
