(PresidentialInsider.com)- Fake conservative Rep. Liz Cheney, the anti-Trump “Republican” from Wyoming who has repeatedly smeared the Make America Great Again agenda and sided with Democrats on the fake impeachment trials, has reportedly accepted a position on a select committee set up by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to “investigate” the January 6 Capitol Hill protest.
We said all along that Pelosi didn’t want a “bipartisan” commission, and that having Republicans on a committee doesn’t matter because she’ll just choose anti-Trump Republicans…and that’s precisely what she did.
Pelosi unveiled eight selections for the new panel, which came after she unsuccessfully attempted to pass legislation for a full commission. Out of those eight, Pelosi only found two anti-Trump Republicans willing to get on board, with the other being Ilinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
Pelosi told the press in a brief statement that she was “honored and proud” to include Rep. Cheney.
No kidding.
She described that the committee will conduct a “full investigation of the most serious attack on our Capitol since 1814.”
She really knows how to ham things up, doesn’t she?
Pelosi added that what happened on January 6 cannot happen again, and that she was establishing the committee to be “above partisan politics.”

Kevin McCarthy, the House Republican Leader, will now need to consider pulling committee assignments from the two Republicans who jumped ship. After all, that’s precisely what he threatened on Wednesday before the committee was confirmed. On Thursday, McCarthy backtracked and said he wouldn’t remove Cheney from her position on the House Armed Services Committee, but there’s no saying what might happen in the future…
As time goes by, Cheney’s conduct is likely going to get her removed from the party altogether.
