Lindsey Graham Says Gitmo Detainees Should Die In Prison

(PresidentialInsider.com)- During Tuesday’s confirmation hearing for President Biden’s SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham sparred with Jackson over her work as a public defender advocating on behalf of terrorist detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

Senator Graham, taking issue with Jackson’s efforts to free the Gitmo terrorists argued that, so long as they present a danger, “I hope they all die in jail if they’re going to go back and kill Americans.”

Graham said it wouldn’t bother him a bit if they died in prison, calling that a “better outcome” than releasing them.

An irate Graham pointed to the current Taliban government in Afghanistan, noting that it is made up of terrorists who were once detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

While working in private practice, Ketanji Jackson Brown later challenged the detainment of Gitmo terror suspects.

During Tuesday’s hearing, Graham said the “system has failed miserably.” He blasted “advocates” like Biden’s nominee for destroying the government’s ability to protect the country from terrorists, adding, “We’re at war; we’re not fighting a crime.”

It is unquestionable that Ketanji Brown Jackson would become the most radical justice to sit on the US Supreme Court.

Sadly, even if every Republican votes no, there is nothing they can do to stop her confirmation. The only hope was that moderate Democrat, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin would vote against her. But that hope is gone. On Friday, Manchin announced that he would vote to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson.

With Manchin a solid yes, all it will take is Vice President Kamala Harris to cast the tie-breaking vote and this radical Leftist will be on the Supreme Court for a lifetime.
