Kamala Harris Goes Nearly 50 Days With No Press Conference

(PresidentialInsider.com)- It has been forty-nine days since President Biden tapped Kamala Harris to lead the Administration’s effort to deal with the crisis on the Southern border. And still Vice President Harris has not held a single press conference or visited a single border town.

On Tuesday, twenty Republican governors sent a letter to the President urging the Administration to take action on this crisis that has only grown worse by the day.

“The crisis is too big to ignore and is now spilling over the border states into all of our states,” the governors wrote.

And they’re right. In order to empty overcrowded border facilities, the Biden Administration is working with NGOs and private organizations to place illegal aliens throughout the US – and without the direct involvement of Governors.

“Allowing the federal government to place a potentially unlimited number of unaccompanied migrant children into our states’ facilities for an unspecified length of time with almost zero transparency is unacceptable and unsustainable,” the letter reads. “We have neither the resources nor the obligation to solve the federal government’s problem and foot the bill for the consequences of this administration’s misguided actions.”

Vice President Harris meanwhile denies that she is in charge of handling the crisis at the border. Instead, her job is solely to determine the “root causes” of the unprecedented influx of illegal aliens.

Unsurprisingly, Harris claims this root cause is “the lack of climate adaptation and climate resilience” – in other words it’s the fault of Climate Change.

No wonder she doesn’t want to hold a press conference.

The 20 Republican governors addressed Harris’ “root causes” busy work in their letter to the President:

“The cause of the border crisis is entirely due to reckless federal policy reversals executed within your first 100 days in office. The rhetoric of the Biden administration and the rollback of critical agreements with our allies have led to the inhumane treatment of tens of thousands of children and undermined a fragile immigration system.”

Harris is scheduled to visit Guatemala and Mexico next month in her quest to find the “root causes.”

She’d have more success in finding them if she simply walked down to the Oval Office.
