Justice John Roberts Becomes Most Popular Justice On Supreme Court

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Last week, Gallup released a survey polling the approval rating of eleven leading government officials, and Chief Justice John Roberts received the highest approval rating among them. What’s more, Roberts was only one of the eleven officials to receive majority support from both Democrats and Republicans.

Roberts, the only Supreme Court Justice listed in the Gallup poll, had an overall approval rating of 60 percent. Broken down by political party, Roberts received 55 percent approval from Democrats, 57 percent from Republicans, and 64 percent from Independents.

The most horrific news from Gallup’s poll, however, is that Dr. Anthony Fauci enjoys 52 percent approval among respondents with only 47 percent disapproving of the diminutive tyrant. That right there is reason enough not to take this Gallup poll seriously.

A majority of respondents also approve of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell (53 percent).

Of the 11 federal officials included in this poll, Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell scored the lowest approval rating (34 percent). House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy had the highest approval of the four congressional leaders included in the poll with 46 percent. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer had a 44 percent approval while Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi garnered 40 percent approval. All four were polling underwater with more people disapproving of them than approving.

Part of McConnell’s low approval rating comes from members of his party. No doubt thanks to former President Trump’s constant barrage of attacks against the Senate Minority Leader. While Schumer and Pelosi enjoy similar approval among Democrats (76 percent and 71 percent respectively), McCarthy polled 25 points higher among Republicans than Mitch McConnell did.

President Biden’s approval rating was one notch lower than Chuck Schumer’s at 43 percent. Kamala Harris polled a smidge higher with 44 percent approval. While Kamala’s approval was higher than Biden’s, her disapproval was higher as well.

The bungling Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the highly partisan Attorney General Merrick Garland both managed to get 49 percent approval while 43 percent disapproved of each.

Gallup’s survey was conducted from December 1-16 and polled 811 adults across all 50 states and Washington, DC.
