Podcaster Joe Rogan has been slamming President Biden in recent broadcasts over the reports that classified documents were found at the Biden Penn Center in Washington and the president’s Delaware home.
On January 12, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that he had appointed a special counsel to investigate the president’s mishandling of classified records. Garland announced that Robert Hur, the former Trump-appointed US Attorney in Maryland, will take over US Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch, who had previously been assigned by the DOJ to investigate the classified documents found.
In one segment, Rogan shared a New York Post report about the tens of millions of dollars donated to the University of Pennsylvania around the time UPenn was establishing the Penn Biden Center. From 2014 through June 2019, the University of Pennsylvania received $54.6 million in donations from China, nearly half of which, 23.1 million, were anonymous gifts.
The majority of the anonymous Chinese donations began around the time the university announced that it was creating the Penn Biden Center in February 2017, shortly after Joe Biden’s term as vice president ended.
According to public records, in2018 when the Penn Biden Center opened, the University of Pennsylvania received $15.8 million in anonymous donations from China, including a single $14.5 million donation in May 2018. Rogan said the bigger issue isn’t the documents found in Biden’s old office but the fact that China gave UPenn over $54 million.
He questioned whether China was using the donations to influence the policies the Penn Biden Center was promoting. Watch below.
