Ivanka Trump Is In Talks To Have An Interview With CNN

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Ivanka Trump, a former Trump administration official and daughter of former President Donald Trump, is reportedly in talks to provide a voluntary interview with the ultra-partisan House Select Committee that claims to be investigating the January 6 “insurrection.”

Formerly a senior White House advisor, Ivanka Trump is said to be discussing with House Democrats a possible voluntary interview to discuss her experience in the White House in the days leading up to the riot that took place in Washington, D.C.

A spokesperson for Ivanka Trump said that she is “in discussions with the Committee to voluntarily appear for an interview.”

Two other anonymous sources familiar with the investigation confirmed that the discussions are taking place, according to both CNN and the New York Times. Neither outlet is all that reliable, of course, but if it has been confirmed by Ivanka’s own team, we know it’s likely going to happen.

Ivanka Trump was previously asked by the committee to voluntarily cooperate with their so-called “investigation” – which has been described by many as an extension of the witch hunt of former President Donald Trump. In February, the committee even published a letter publicly calling on Ivanka Trump to come forward and offer a voluntary interview.

In the public letter, the ultra-partisan committee claimed that new testimony revealed evidence that Fox News host Sean Hannity called on the White House to get Trump to stop talking about the election and to distance himself from some “crazy people” surrounding him.

It’s hard to really know what the committee will be able to get out of Ivanka that will support their blatantly inaccurate narrative that Trump incited an “insurrection,” but we’ll have to wait and see.
