Illegal Aliens Get Work Licenses in New Jersey, Thanks to Democrats

( Democrats in New Jersey are pushing through new legislation that will give illegal aliens in the state the legal right to work. The Democrat-run legislature will allow tens of thousands of illegal aliens to work in the United States and take work opportunities from legal citizens struggling during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.

How is that fair?

Democratic Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, is set to sign a bill that was passed by the legislature in July. House and Senate Democrats wrote and voted for the legislation that will let illegal aliens apply for occupations and professional licenses.

A spokesperson for Governor Murphy said before the vote that he “believes that immigrants are a critical part of the fabric of life in New Jersey and that they should not face unnecessary barriers as they seek to participate in our society and economy.”

But why should illegal aliens be given the same rights as citizens when the first thing they did in the country is commit a crime? Or do people forget that illegally entering a country is a crime?

The short bill will remove any existing rules that stop illegal aliens from being granted licenses for white-collar and blue-collar jobs. Senate bill No. 2455 says, “Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law, rule, or regulation, lawful presence in the United States shall not be required to obtain a professional or occupational license, provided that the applicant meets all other requirements for licensure.”

Isn’t that chilling? What that basically means is, an illegal alien must meet all the requirements, except the most important requirement of being legally present in the United States. It means that absolutely anybody can be granted a license to work in the United States as long as they are capable of putting in the effort of flying into the United States and overstaying their tourist visa. Or, of course, hopping Trump’s border wall.

It not only opens up the possibility of more illegals taking jobs that Americans so desperately need right now, but means that illegal aliens already working for New Jersey companies will be able to do so in the comfort of knowing they aren’t about to get busted.
