Hollywood Filmmaker Says Mark Zuckerberg Should Go To Jail As Big Tech Comes Under Fire

(PresidentialInsider.com)- While those on the right attack Zuckerberg for Facebook’s penchant for censoring opposing views, those on the left attack him for not censoring opposing views enough. And documentary filmmaker Ken Burns has joined the chorus of those on the left calling for Mark Zuckerberg’s head.

In an interview with the New York Times podcast “Sway” with host Kara Swisher to promote his new documentary about Muhammad Ali, Swisher asked Burns who he thinks would be the version of Muhammad Ali in one hundred years.

Burns told Swisher that Stacey Abrams would be the person “who has the closest chops,” adding that Abrams was someone that “we could carve into Mount Rushmore.”

After calling Stacey Abrams “the real deal,” Burns suddenly shifted gears and said “I hope Zuckerberg is in jail by then.”

What one has to do with the other is anybody’s guess.

Then Burns went on a tear, accusing Mark Zuckerberg of being an “enemy of the state,” telling Swisher that Mark Zuckerberg does “give a sh*t” about the United States because he can get away to anywhere. Burns accused Zuckerberg of only carrying about profit.

He then dragged Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg into his rant – calling her complicit and saying there should be a Nuremberg-type trial against both Zuckerberg and Sandberg.

Rather than follow up with Burns on his odd-ball rant, host Kara Swisher simply changed the subject. Who can blame her? Sometimes that’s the best way to deal with someone having a mental breakdown.

Lately Ken Burns has gone full-on Leftist crank. In July, this man who did a multi-part documentary on the Civil War, claimed that American today is “the most fraught time” in the history of the Republic. Guess he’s never seen his Civil War documentary.

Ranting on MSNBC about misinformation, voter suppression and paranoia (how ironic), Burns said Americans are “rewriting our history” because they are not interested in facts. Facts, like the Civil War being a much more fraught time than today, perhaps?

Burns also attacked Republicans in his MSNBC rant, claiming that they want to “run against the government.”

Don’t we all.
