Greta Van Susteren Returns To Television On Newsmax

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Greta Van Susteren, a veteran broadcaster, returned to nightly television on Tuesday with a new show that topped Newsmax’s evening roster.

Van Susteren, one of the most well-known figures in television news, anchors “The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” which will show every weeknight at 6 p.m. Van Susteren characterizes the hallmark show as a solid hour of accurate, fair, and impartial take on the news.

Van Susteren stated that with everything going on around the globe, she’s happy to be returning to her origins – a daily live news broadcast with honest reporting from where things are occurring, Van Susteren explained on Newsmax.

Van Susteren stated that her mission is to communicate important stories to the American people. She wants the people in her hometown of Appleton, Wisconsin, to understand why these stories are important to them, Van Susteren stated on Newsmax’s “Eric Bolling The Balance.”  She suggested that these stories affect families across the country, not just those on the east coast between New York and Washington, D.C.

According to Newsmax, Van Susteren’s new show will also result in a significant alteration in the Newsmax schedule.  Elliot Jacobson, executive vice president of programming, stated that the new schedule will increase Newsmax’s capacity to offer hard-hitting news and commentary at critical times for Americans.

According to Nielsen ratings, Newsmax is presently the fourth highest-rated cable news channel and the top 20 overall cable channel in the United States. The network is available in over 100 million television households via all major cable and satellite systems, as well as on the majority of streaming platforms.

Newsmax reports that Van Susteren is a trained lawyer and brings three decades of journalism expertise to the network.  As a trained lawyer, she rose to national popularity as a legal commentator offering insight into the O.J. Simpson murder trial.  She has previously been on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC, and she most recently aired a Sunday morning show on the Gray television network and contributed to Voice of America.

Greta will be an excellent addition to Newsmax. She is never afraid to ask difficult questions and press for the answers.
