(PresidentialInsider.com)- After Democrats and the media spent all day Thursday “commemorating” the anniversary of the three-hour riot at the Capitol, the panel from Fox News’ “The Five” gave their responses to the histrionic speeches made during the Democrats’ campaign event.
Co-host Greg Gutfeld not only slammed President Biden’s divisive remarks, but he also excoriated the Democrats’ decision to hold a day-long commemoration in the first place.
Gutfeld pointed out that Biden claimed he would unite the country, but what he did in his speech was the opposite. Biden, Gutfeld said, was scolding millions of Americans and accusing them of doing something evil, adding “that’s not what a president should do.”
Gutfield noted that Biden frequently flips the presumption of innocence on its head, like assuming the guilt of the border patrol agents falsely accused of “whipping” Haitian illegals or assuming the guilt of Kyle Rittenhouse, and now assuming the guilt of the rioters on January 6.
Gutfeld lit into the Democrats for creating a “phony narrative” in the guise of a commemoration. He attacked them for trying to turn a three-hour riot into something akin to the Pearl Harbor attack and 9/11. In doing so, Gutfeld said, they are putting a target on the backs of their political opponents.
He concluded by saying if Democrats plan to do this every January 6, “I say no, f**k you.”
