(PresidentialInsider.com)- A Border Patrol agent stationed near the Texas elementary school attacked on Tuesday did not wait for assistance before storming the building and killing the perpetrator.
An 18-year-old monster invaded Robb Elementary School and opened fire on children.
A Border Patrol agent who was close when the shooting began raced inside the school without waiting for assistance and shot and killed the shooter behind a barrier.
The agent was injured, but he could leave the school on his own.
The allegation was substantiated by Fox News journalist Bill Melugin, who said that the agent was “an elite BORTAC Border Patrol agent.”
Border Patrol sources tell me an elite BORTAC Border Patrol agent is believed to have shot and killed the gunman at Robb Elementary School today. I’m told he entered with a tactical team while TX LEOs were engaged w/ barricaded shooter. The agent was injured. @FoxNews

The number of those murdered in the incident has allegedly risen to at least 20.
According to Texas State Senator Roland Gutierrez (D), Texas, law enforcement officers informed him 18 children and three adults were slain.
Democrats jumped on the tragedy almost immediately, with many calling for new gun control legislation and others using it as a stick with which to criticize Republicans.
The incident occurred at Uvalde, which is located 85 miles west of San Antonio and has around 16,000 people.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that Texans around the state are weeping for the victims of this terrible act and the town of Uvalde.
He said that he and his wife are heartbroken by this senseless tragedy, and they call on all Texans to join them in showing our unshakable support for all those who are hurting.
He then said:
“We appreciate the brave first responders who fought tirelessly to secure Robb Elementary School. I’ve directed the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers to collaborate with local law enforcement to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident. While the State of Texas works to ensure the community has everything it needs to recover, the Texas Division of Emergency Management is entrusted with providing local officials with the resources required to respond to this tragedy.”
