Fox News Owner NAMED By Liz Cheney – What Does It Mean?

(PresidentialInsider.com)- Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) responded to Fox News anchor Bret Baier’s question about opponents who call the Jan. 6 Committee a “show trial” by mentioning the network’s owner.

Baier questioned Cheney about those who disagree with the Jan. 6 hearings and think they are biased during an appearance on Fox News Sunday.

Detractors listed that there is no chance for the defendants to raise a defense or protect themselves. There is no cross-examining of witnesses, which is a fundamental component of American concepts of due process. The ‘show trial’ was created by left-leaning television industry experts.

Pelosi lackey Cheney responded by blaming House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), claiming he “pulled the rug out” from under Republicans who backed a bipartisan panel by assuring the commission’s rejection in the Senate. When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi removed Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Jim Banks (R-IN) from the Committee, McCarthy subsequently decided not to participate in the hearings at all (D-CA).

She’s so blinded with rage about Trump that she didn’t even see the glaring bias within her explanation.

Later in the conversation, Baier spoke about Cheney’s primary contest with Donald Trump supporter Harriet Hageman, who is now leading Cheney by a vast margin in the polls.

Reports show Baier then asked if Cheney expected to lose her seat and if she was planning to run for president.

Cheney remarked that she was focused on doing what was right. She then name-dropped Rupert Murdoch, the owner of Fox News. She claimed that editorial columns in his papers (Wall Street Journal and the New York Post) denounced former President Trump over the hearings and were on her side.

Nice try with the name drop, but a few editorials by biased people and some comments from the left-leaning Murdoch family do not make the hearings legitimate.

Cheney said she would continue to be guided by “making sure I do my duty and making sure that the American people understand the truth.”

There are two things you should never do:

1. Never go hunting with Dick Cheney.

2. Never trust Liz Cheney’s version of the truth.
