Feds Target Rudy Giuliani For Improper Lobbying Despite Hunter Biden Scandal

(PresidentialInsider.com)- If you want to get away with crime and questionable business activity, then you just need to make sure a member of your family is a Democrat with some power. That’s the message we’ve got from the various scandals Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, is tied up in.

And it’s also particularly clear when you consider the news that feds are investigating former New York City Mayor, and former personal attorney to President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani.

ABC News reports that Giuliani is facing a federal inquiry into accusations that he improperly lobbied for Turkey. A source familiar with the investigation, who remained anonymous, provided the information to the news outlet. The inquiry is believed to be separate from a criminal investigation also being performed into Giuliani’s alleged activities in Ukraine.

In 2017, Giuliani was hired as a representative of Reza Zarrab, an Iranian-born businessman who lives in Turkey. Zarrab is accused of money laundering and evading sanctions and received support from Giuliani who, in 2017, urged the then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to drop the case.

Giuliani hasn’t tried to keep his work secret, but that doesn’t stop Democrats going after Republicans for legitimate work – even as an attorney – while completely ignoring issues surrounding the president’s son’s foreign business deals.

Take for instance Hunter Biden’s continued refusal to divest from his ownership stake in Bohai Harvest RST Equity Investment Fund Management Company. The young Biden owns a 10% equity stake in the company and has repeatedly promised to divest after his father became president, but still hasn’t.

It’s one of a series of deals made by the president’s son during his father’s time as Vice President between 2008 and 2016.

Giuliani is not only facing new investigations but was even stripped of his law license in New York by the state’s Supreme Court, in retaliation for his support of the former president in his efforts to restore election integrity and fight election fraud.

One rule for Republicans, another for Democrats, right?
