(PresidentialInsider.com)- FBI Director Christopher Wray has pushed back against the White House and Attorney General Merrick Garland, who recently floated the idea of using federal authorities to control what parents say at school board meetings.
It was revealed last month that the National School Board Association sent a letter to Garland last month, requesting that parents be treated as domestic terrorists for raising concerns about the teaching of Critical Race Theory in schools. It shocked the country and revealed the extent to which the Biden administration will go to indoctrinate American children into believing that all white people are inherently racist.
But Wray said in a speech in October, according to the Daily Caller News Foundation, that he wanted to be “clear” that the FBI would “not be attending school board meetings.”
A former agent who saw the speech reached out to the Daily Caller, explaining how Wray didn’t want any misconception about what the FBI was or was not planning to do.
Retired FBI special agent Cecil Moses was in Arizona for the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI conference. He explained how Wray met with former agents on October 22 and assured them that he wouldn’t be monitoring what parents say at the meetings.
“He made the comment that the Bureau will stay in his own lane and I think that’s a very, very cogent argument,” Moses claimed.
Not only did the National School Boards Association contact Garland, but the Department of Justice issued a memorandum on October 4 instructing the FBI to “use its authority” to work with local law enforcement agencies to rein in parents at school board meetings. Garland erroneously claimed that there was a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence.”
It’s called parents not wanting their children to be indoctrinated by far-left ideologues.
