(PresidentialInsider.com)- He may be gone, but Jeffrey Epstein is still making news. And some of the news is downright bizarre.
A sprawling estate in New Mexico that belonged to Epstein is at the heart of the latest news involving the late child sex trafficker.
According to a report from KRQE in Albuquerque, just a few months before his 2019 arrest, the deed to Epstein’s Zorro Ranch was transferred to a nonprofit Florida church called Love and Bliss. According to the deed, the land was sold to Love and Bliss for a measly two hundred dollars.
Created in April 2019, the deed is notarized and appears to have Jeffrey Epstein’s signature, and was filed with Santa Fe County in October 2020.
Only the deed in question is a flat-out fake.
The address of the Florida attorney listed on the deed is fake. KRQE’s reporter called the number for this supposed Florida attorney, and it belonged to a realty office. She then called the phone number for the NYS attorney listed and it belonged to a Jack Dewitt Sales who had the number for sixty years.
Love and Bliss church doesn’t seem quite on the up-and-up either. It was founded three years ago, and its president is a 22-year-old man named Alex Leszczynski who was arrested on a stalking charge in 2017 and a charge of battery this past March.
This isn’t even the first time this has happened to the Epstein estate.
When KRQE contacted Epstein’s estate attorney Daniel Weiner to ask about the deed transferring the New Mexico property to Love and Bliss, he is heard on the phone muttering an exasperated “Oh, God.”
Weiner explains that these are the same people who filed a fraudulent deed for Epstein’s estate in Florida.
“If Love and Bliss filed a warranty deed clouding our ability to sell the property,” Weiner said “then we’ll definitely have to go to court to get rid of it.”
One can’t help but wonder why this “president” of Love and Bliss church isn’t holding service behind bars already.
