CNN Corespondent’s Claim About Biden Is Raising Eyebrows

( You have to give the CNN White House correspondent credit for one thing- he’s devoted to his party in the face of demoralizing news like any true-believing apparatchik. The problem is, he’s supposed to be a journalist.

On Wednesday, CNN White House correspondent John Harwood was criticized for suggesting that there was “zero proof” that Vice President Joe Biden is linked to his son’s alleged misconduct.

Harwood, who, despite his “correspondent” title, frequently assumes the role of a liberal pundit. He acknowledges that Hunter Biden could be a problem for the administration but bends himself into a pretzel in order to claim that the president has done “nothing wrong” despite what’s on the “laptop from hell.”

The laptop has been authenticated, by The New York Times, as belonging to Hunter Biden.

The New York Times released a detailed report last week on the Justice Department’s ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden, who publicly admitted in December 2020 that the authorities were investigating his “tax troubles.”

Harwood admits that It appears pretty clear that Hunter Biden was trading on his father’s name to make a lot of money. But he doesn’t see a “nexus” between what Hunter has done and any culpability by Joe Biden. He also says in his own devoted and desperate way, “nothing to see here, move along.”

“It’s (Hunter’s investigations) not really of much public import in terms of the policy of the United States or the administration of the government,” Harwood said. “There is zero evidence that Vice President Biden, or President Biden, has done anything wrong with what Hunter Biden has done,” Harwood added.

Harwood either is blissfully unaware that Hunter’s laptop contains references to Joe Biden as a player in his dirty dealings, or he is biting the pillow at night wondering if he can make it go away with his damage control “journalism.”

When discussing how to dole out the payoffs from foreign governments seeking to peddle Joe Biden’s influence, his crack-addicted son’s emails put the president squarely in the middle.

An email found on the notorious laptop refers to the then vice president, Joe Biden, as “the big guy” during a suggested financial breakdown with foreign energy executives. The recommendation was that “10 held by H for the big guy?” according to New York Post writer Jon Levine. The email was legitimate, according to Politico reporting in 2021.

That’s a nexus.

At the time, Harwood was one of several liberal journalists who disregarded the Biden laptop claim. In a tweet on Oct. 22, 2020, he said that a Trump interview that day “makes clear disinformation by Russian intelligence on Biden isn’t enough to carry him across the finish line on its own.”

Former CNN digital producer and media critic Steve Krakauer quipped, “What stage of Hunter Biden laptop media grief would this be? Seems like ‘bargaining’… depression, then acceptance next,”
