Children Were Given A Private Lesson By Drag Queens At School

(PresidentialInsider.com)- The invaluable Libs of TikTok posted a video last week showing a drag show that was hosted by a gay student club at Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa of all places.

The Gay-Straight Alliance club hosted several drag performers, including one who spoke to students about how to navigate their gender identity. However, according to the school district, this drag event was not sanctioned by school administrators.

Videos of the show that were initially posted on Facebook included one in which a drag performer explained how drag helped him in the “very beginning stages” of his gender identity journey. He waxed on about gender and how sometimes he feels like a man and sometimes he doesn’t. You know, just the kind of stuff high school kids should hear in school.

According to Libs of TikTok, students from Ankeney High School also performed during the drag show.

In a statement after the drag show was exposed, the Ankeney Community School District said the show, which featured drag queens from the Central Iowa Youth Pride Pageant, was not sanctioned in advance. While the Gay-Straight Alliance is an approved club, the club didn’t follow the proper procedure before scheduling the event. The district added that it is investigating the incident.

One can’t help but wonder if Ankeney Community School District would’ve opened an investigation into this drag performance if the event hadn’t been exposed by conservatives like Libs of TikTok.

Pushback works.

For too long, public schools have either openly advocated for this kind of garbage or they’ve turned a blind eye to it, hoping parents and the community would never find out.

Libs of TikTok, Christopher Rufo, and others like them provide an invaluable service by pulling back the curtain and exposing what public schools have, for so long, tried to hide.
