(PresidentialInsider.com)- Nobody will ever accuse Joe Biden of having his finger on the pulse of the American people. The man is so out of touch with the rest of the country, last week on Twitter, he boasted that he ushered in “the strongest first-year economic track record of any president in the last 50 years.”
This boast was based on a comment from “one analyst.”
So it had nothing to do with the facts on the ground. It was just one unnamed “analyst’s” opinion. But Biden boasted about it anyway.
Not surprisingly, Biden’s clueless tweet prompted an avalanche of mockery.
For all the media’s claims that the Trump White House constantly lied to the American people, Biden’s boastful lie about his failed economy is in a class by itself.
The entire Biden administration plan for the economy amounts to “Who are you gonna believe, us or your lying eyes?”
Economists have been slashing growth forecasts for 2022 given the economic uncertainty and the rapidly spreading Omicron variant.
Moody’s Analytics downgraded first-quarter GDP projection from 5.2 percent to 2.2 percent. Moody’s chief economist Mark Zandi said he sees mounting economic damage heading into the first quarter of 2022.
Former Clinton Treasury Secretary Larry Summers told Bloomberg that the Federal Reserve’s tapering down of bond purchases came too late to make any difference. Summers fears that the only way out of the inflationary environment that has been created will be a recession.
Summers told Bloomberg that the lesson of the 1970s is an overheating economy doesn’t just elevate inflation, it fuels constantly-rising inflation.
So Joe Biden is bringing us back to the Carter Years, but the man is so oblivious to what’s happening in the very country he is supposedly leading, he thinks he’s been a ringing success.
On Monday, Biden continued his clueless economic policies when he announced that he was going to war with Big Meat.
The oblivious old man, in a roundtable discussion on his fake White House stage set, explained that over the holidays, he learned from a family friend that beef prices were high. But rather than taking any responsibility for the high cost of meat prices, Biden is blaming it on “corporate middlemen” who are forcing prices up to increase their profits.
Good grief, this man is an idiot.
