(PresidentialInsider.com)- President Joe Biden’s ratings have never been particularly high – unless you believe that he won the most votes of any presidential candidate in American history – but the latest numbers show just how angry the American people are at the president’s horrible performance on the border.
Biden’s polling numbers, according to a Hill-HarrisX survey, have plummeted in the wake of more tragic stories of illegal aliens and children being forced into cramped conditions at the border. The poll found that 44% of American voters place the blame for the surge in illegal migrant crossings at President Biden’s feet, with only 28% blaming former President Donald Trump.
It means that Biden’s efforts to shift the blame of the border crisis onto the Trump administration isn’t working.
Some 20% of respondents placed equal blame on both presidents, and only 7% said neither president was responsible.
Under the Trump administration, the number of illegal aliens attempting to cross the border dropped dramatically after he implemented sweeping border policy measures, including the construction of over 400 miles of border wall and a “Remain in Mexico” policy that stopped asylum seekers being prematurely granted access to the United States.
Broken down into parties, the numbers showed that 46% of Democrats placed the blame for the border crisis on President Donald Trump, meaning less than half of Democrats believe Biden’s fake narrative that he inherited a border crisis from the last president.
According to data estimates reviewed by propaganda outlet CNN, which typically favors the Democrats, the United States is well on the way to receiving a record two million migrants in the next fiscal year, which ends on September 30.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is refusing to visit the border and see the crisis for himself, including the cramped conditions in which illegal aliens and their children are being held.
The Biden administration has attempted to relieve some of the pressure on the border by spending $86 million on contracts with hotels in Texas and Arizona, with illegal aliens expected to be housed for free for at least the next six months.
Customs and Border Protection agents also recently admitted to releasing illegal aliens into the United States without any notice to appear before the courts, indicating just how serious the border crisis has become.
