(PresidentialInsider.com)- Sportswriters from two separate sports websites last week got themselves into a tizzy because former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez was spotted at a wedding held at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club.
And not just A-Rod. Former hockey great Wayne Gretzky was there too.
Well, whoop-dee-doo.
But for some reason, Trump, Gretsky, and A-Rod all attending the same wedding at Mar-a-Lago has sportswriters all in a snit.
They’re claiming that A-Rod was trying to keep the Mar-a-Lago visit secret because he didn’t mention Trump when he posted pictures of himself on social media attending this wedding. And if you don’t mention that Trump was there, you must be trying to hide it.
And, the geo-tag for his social media posts said “Palm Beach Bath and Tennis Club.” So clearly A-Rod managed to get whatever creates the geo-tag to not put “Mar-a-Lago” as part of his grand scheme to sneakily hide his whereabouts.
Honestly, can you believe these people?
If A-Rod wanted to keep it all hush-hush, he wouldn’t have put a geo-tag on the picture at all.
Isn’t it hilarious that these are the same idiots who call people on the right conspiracy theorists?
But the intrepid sportswriters were able to blow the lid off this supposed sneaky cover-up because other people who attended the same wedding posted pictures of A-Rod and Trump.
If it was that easy to uncover this supposed “cover-up,” perhaps Alex Rodriguez wasn’t trying to cover it up.
