Left-wing Tim Robbins, an Academy Award-winning actor, defended those who oppose vaccination requirements and school lockdowns after admitting that he harbored anger toward them before he opened his mind.
Robbins admitted to actor and podcast host Russell Brand, “I bought into it.” “I had masks on all over.” He said he was avoiding social interaction. He was doing what was asked of him, and he was enraged by those who weren’t. The “Shawshank Redemption” actor claimed that at the start of the pandemic, he spent seven months living alone in New York before traveling to Britain for work.
According to the actor, Robbins’ transformation was sparked by the trip. He said that many people were not following the government’s requests. He figured they were in for a tough day and that there would be some serious fatalities.
“I started to wonder more and more about what we were told and whether it was true or not when I saw that there wasn’t a huge death rate after I personally witnessed what was happening.” Robbins later admitted to Brand that he had heard about an anti-lockdown demonstration nearby one day and had gone to investigate.
However, what he found there was unexpected. The actor claimed, “I saw how they were being described in the press, and it wasn’t true. These were not National Front Nazis, as you may know. These were liberals, leftists, and proponents of individual liberty.” He also began to doubt some of the “science” that the media and even health officials were promoting.
Robbins cited the information that those who had received vaccinations could spread the disease, the sudden disregard for natural immunity, and how the virus affects the elderly and those with compromised immune systems differently from the general population. Robbins told Brand that he found it absurd and heartless that American leftists advocated for the unvaccinated to be denied medical care
. He said we turned into tribal, angry, vengeful people, adding, “It turned into, ‘You should f***ing die because you have not complied.’” “That is incredibly dangerous,” he concluded.
Robbins tweeted to SAG, AFTRA, and the ACTOR’S EQUITY unions- “Hey: Way past time to end your discriminatory politics. “NY Supreme Court just ruled that all unvaccinated NYC employees are ‘reinstated to their full employment’ and are ‘entitled to back pay in salary from the date of termination.’”
